Well, CARMA stands for 'Cultural & Regional Musicians Association',
bringing people together through one very expressive and long-existing
art form: MUSIC.
CARMA is a non-profit association who advocate the development
of music and the music industry on the Sunshine Coast.
We do this through fostering creative partnerships and supporting
individuals and acts. We aim to develop regular events and music
showcases and establish ongoing workshops, career support, publicity
and promotional support for young emerging musicians and established
music industry professionals.

CARMA will advocate the professional development of musicians
and music industry workers on the Sunshine Coast.
CARMA will do this by:
• Developing creative partnerships with music industry
sectors, government bodies, educational organisations, community
organisations and private enterprise that support the career
development of music industry practitioners and workers.
• Providing assistance, advice, resources and information
to people developing a career in the music industry.
• Providing links to opportunities and networks within
our regional and national music industries.
• Providing professional development and performance
opportunities for emerging musicians and industry workers.
• Providing publicity and promotional support.
• Helping young people retain their musical identity
and foster audiences for local material
• Providing assistance with business development.
