involving a multi camera shoot with video switcher recorded
straight to DVD. The workshop will discuss concept and approach;
setup the stage, lighting, camera and vision switcher. The

LossofAutonomy (LoA) are a post-hardcore/alternative rock

Sarah Reeve is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter/musician. She
plays piano, flute, violin, and is currently also learning guitar.
She has spent the last year at the QLD conservatorium of Music,
studying towards a Bachelor of Popular Music. This year she
has deferred her studies to concentrate on more live performances
and life experiences. Sarah is currently performing her original
material around the Sunshine Coast.
Singer/Songwriter Adrian Herd’s performances are founded
on an attitude of deep emotion that’s reflective, quirky
and soulful. At 21, Adrian is proving to be one of the Sunshine
Coasts strongest emerging talents drawing upon the craftsmanship
of memorable singer songwriters from the 60's and 70's. Adding
a truly individual voice, personality and unique contemporary
style to perform a great blend of exceptional originals and
covers. Adrian has appealed to a broad range of people spanning
different musical tastes and age brackets. His love of live
music is evident as he delivers an expressive and energetic
performance keeping the audience in his hands.

is bliss for your ears. Based on the sunshine coast, this newly
established group combines melodic, raw guitar, smooth feminine
vocals and distinctive lyrics with sweet sounding violin to
create a new blend of contemporary folk and intricate poetic

- Violin, viola & keys and John Fredericks - drums, percussion
& trumpet .

CARMA in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Show Society,
Shake It Up Music, DW Sound, Eleven PM Recording Studios and
Evoke Management present 'Bands on Show 2006'. A competition
for all styles of bands with members 15 - 25 years.
Some of the prizes you will be competing
for are music equipment, recording and promotional support
worth over $5,000 with more to come.
Overall 20 bands will be able to nominate
to perform 20 min sets, the top five bands will play in the
finals on Saturday the 17th June. $8.00 entry fee for each
member.

EXPLODE is a huge networking opportunity for young people meet

Music Video Film Clips and Discussion
A showcase of the C.A.R.M.A and Earth Base Productions music
video project. As well as screening the music videos the workshop
groups will be invited to participate in a discussion chaired
by a representative from C.A.R.M.A and Earth Base Productions.
